House of Blues Dallas opened in 2007 in the historic White Swan Building at the crossroads of Dallas’ West End and the newly established Victory Park development. It hosts contemporary concerts that include some of the hottest acts currently on tour. The House of Blues Dallas building dates back to the 1920′s when it housed a White Swan Coffee processing plant. Home to unique pieces of art such as Alan Sainte James Boudrot’s “A Dream Come True” and S. Guion’s painting of Robert Johnson, this unique and history–rich building continues to celebrate and showcase art and music. In keeping with tradition, the House of Blues Dallas displays the “Crazy Quilt” and keeps a metal box of mud from the Delta Mississippi underneath its stage.

The first House of Blues opened its doors on November 26, 1992 in the Harvard Square commercial district and retail area of Cambridge, Massachusetts. The company was originally financed by Dan Aykroyd, Aerosmith, Paul Shaffer, River Phoenix, James Belushi and Harvard University among others. This original location has since closed. However, the hands-in-concrete driveway where members of the Blues Brothers and others left their mark, still remains. is owned and operated by, LLC. was launched in September 2004 as an online ticket broker. With access to over 80,000 events and 6 million tickets in our database and our in house software package we can get tickets to almost any publicized event fans and patrons want to attend.

Dan Aykroyd and James Belushi remain closely associated with the brand and are present for most openings, most recently attending and performing at the Grand Opening Celebrations of both the Houston and the Boston Houses of Blues.

On July 5, 2006, Live Nation, the largest live entertainment company, acquired House of Blues. As a division of Live Nation, the company currently operates 12 clubs throughout North America with its location in Atlantic City being franchised. Nine of these locations also feature the VIP membership club, Foundation Room.
